Phantom ant syndrome

We have ants in our kitchen. In the bathroom. In the cupboard under the stairs. You know, I've even found them in my undies drawer. Everywhere. Is. Crawling. With. Ants.

In the last few days the hot weather has brought them out in what seems like the millions. I'm now so used to flicking them off my arms, my legs, the back of the neck, extracting them out from under my clothes, that now I'll be anywhere - even at work or on the bus - and think I have one of those little blighters crawling on me. It's driving me completely mad!

I have another few million living at my house and no bench space is safe. One minute you are making a sanga on a clean bench, you turn your back to get the cheese and they sniff it out in a flash.

Mine must've heard you. I got up this morning to find a line of them snaking in from the window frame. UGH. Must be the heat.

Up here in Queensland the ant invasion continues. About three or four weeks ago they moved in, and show no signs of leaving. Do they know something?

Oh no, not good. I remember our house (in QLD) used to often get infested and there never seemed to be anything we could do about it. Luckily, they never made it to my undie drawer though!

We have them EVERYWHERE and it's RAINING! If my baby drops any food on the ground, they are onto it super quick - into the sugar, in our BED, in my sewing, in my son's room. I hear you. I have talcum powdered them - but they're still getting in. GRRR!
